For finance teams: fill a sector template from your own statements and get an instant, deterministic report — completeness against IFRS/AAOIFI/Basel-aligned expected line items, the same consistency gates SANAD runs on rating intakes, computed ratios cross-checked against your printed ones, and a published Framework & Disclosure Maturity Index (M1–M5). Check-and-discard: nothing you upload is stored.
The full rating action and the methodology library are available to holders of an approved SANAD account. A free account is enough.
Three layers, all deterministic with no human in the loop: (1) Completeness — the presence of your sector's expected line items per IFRS, AAOIFI FAS for Islamic institutions and Basel-aligned expectations for banks, using the same required/optional registry SANAD applies to rating intakes; (2) Consistency & accuracy — balance-sheet ties, scale plausibility, year-on-year movements, and your printed ratios cross-checked against ratios computed from your own figures; (3) Framework maturity — a published five-band index summarising basis of preparation, audit status, timeliness, completeness and consistency.
Check-and-discard: the file is processed in server memory and destroyed the moment the report is produced. Neither the file nor any figure from it is stored; nothing enters SANAD's databases or any rating file; only the fact that a check ran, and the template variant, is logged.
The score is out of 100 across five fixed, published components:
| Component | Weight | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| Accounting framework | 30 | IFRS 9 / AAOIFI 30 · IFRS 26 · hybrid 20 · local GAAP 10 |
| Audit status | 25 | unqualified 25 · qualified 15 · opinion not attached 12 · adverse/disclaimer 5 · unaudited 0 |
| Timeliness | 15 | ≤6mo 15 · ≤12mo 10 · ≤18mo 5 · older 0 |
| Completeness | 20 | share of required line items present × 20 |
| Consistency | 10 | gates pass 10 · warn 6 · fail 2 |
M5 ≥ 85 · M4 ≥ 70 · M3 ≥ 50 · M2 ≥ 30 · M1 < 30
The index measures framework and disclosure maturity, not creditworthiness: M5 does not mean a high rating and M1 does not mean distress — it measures how verifiable and reliance-ready your statements are against best practice.
Incomplete or inconsistent statements have a real price: SANAD's published methodologies cap ratings when information is insufficient (unaudited or >18-month-old statements cap at BB+(LY); no verifiable statements caps at CCC+(LY)) — and lenders and investors apply the same logic silently. Raising your maturity band before any financing or rating engagement is the cheapest funding-cost improvement available.
This tool is an automated self-assessment against published criteria — not an advisory service, an audit or assurance, and it creates no engagement with SANAD.
