How the SANAD site uses cookies, local storage and analytics.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| scra_sub | Keeps an approved subscriber signed in (httpOnly session; never readable by page scripts). | 8 hours |
Staff and issuer sign-in uses browser local storage (scra_token) on the admin area only, cleared on sign-out.
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and shares no browsing data with ad networks.
SANAD uses self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) running on SANAD's own server: aggregate page views, referrers, country and device class. No cookies are set, no personal profiles are built, data never leaves SANAD's infrastructure, and IP addresses are not stored.
Because it is cookieless and first-party, no consent is required — this page is provided for transparency.
If you choose “Allow” on the notice bar, a random anonymous identifier (scra_analytics_id) is kept in your browser's local storage so your repeat visits count as one returning visitor across days. The identifier is entirely random: it contains no name, email or personal data, is never linked to your account, and never leaves SANAD's servers. Choosing “Essential only” keeps measurement anonymous per day with no identifier at all. Withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time, and signing out removes the session. For questions, please visit the contact page.
